Information collected when you visit

Like almost every website, our web hosting provider’s servers may automatically record basic technical information when a page is requested. This typically includes the IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the browser type and the referring page. These server logs are kept by the hosting provider for security and troubleshooting. We do not use them to identify individual visitors and we do not combine them with other data.

The search feature runs inside your own browser using a pre-built index of our articles. What you type into the search box is not sent to us or to any third party.

Contacting us

If you contact us, we receive whatever you choose to send, such as your name, email address and message. We use it only to reply to you and to correct our content. Please do not include Aadhaar numbers, OTPs, passwords or copies of land documents in any message.

Our guides link to government portals and other websites. When you follow those links, their own privacy policies apply. Official Farmer Registry portals handle personal data under the rules set by the Government. The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare has stated that AgriStack was developed in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, and that farmer data is shared only with the farmer’s consent (PIB, 7 August 2026).

Children

This website is intended for a general adult audience and does not knowingly collect information from children.

Your rights

Because we do not keep personal profiles of visitors, there is usually no personal data for us to access, correct or delete. If you have contacted us and want your message deleted, tell us through the contact page and we will delete it.
