MP Farmer Registry (mpfr.agristack.gov.in): Registration and Status Guide 2026

Madhya Pradesh farmers register for a Farmer ID on the official portal mpfr.agristack.gov.in, known as MPFR. The portal reads land from the state’s khasra records, and each approved farmer receives a Farmer ID. Madhya Pradesh had 1,14,44,193 Farmer IDs on 6 August 2026, the third-highest in India, and recorded the second-largest number of plots in the Rabi 2025-26 Digital Crop Survey.

• Aadhaar and the Aadhaar-linked mobile for OTPs.
• Khasra details for each plot: district, tehsil, village and khasra number. Your B1 or khasra copy shows these.
• A check that your name on the khasra record matches your Aadhaar name.

The MP land records portal is MP Bhulekh, run by the Commissioner Land Records. Its official page describes it as the “authorized online portal of State of Madhya Pradesh for maintaining Land Records”, with land record search and certified copies of khasra, khatauni and maps. Use it to note your khasra numbers before registering.

MPFR registration in brief

1. Open mpfr.agristack.gov.in and choose the farmer option. Create an account using Aadhaar OTP, then register a mobile number and password.
2. Log in and begin farmer registration. Review your details from Aadhaar.
3. Claim your land by selecting district, tehsil and village and entering each khasra number. Select your name from the owners list and add the plot.
4. Verify all lands. The system calculates a name-match score between your Aadhaar and khasra names.
5. Give consent and e-Sign with Aadhaar OTP.
6. Note the enrolment number sent by SMS.

Checking MP Farmer ID status

People often search “farmer ID status check MP”. The method is:

1. Open mpfr.agristack.gov.in.
2. Look for the status or enrolment status option on the home or login page.
3. Enter your enrolment number or the details requested.

Understanding MP’s official figures

You may notice something odd: the 6 August figure is 740 lower than the 30 July figure. The official replies do not explain this. Possible reasons include deactivation of IDs (for example after a farmer’s death, which the FAQ says inactivates the Farmer ID), de-duplication, or differences in when data was extracted. We show both figures as published rather than guess.

Madhya Pradesh also ran one of the largest Digital Crop Surveys in Rabi 2025-26, covering 4,81,34,982 plots, second only to Uttar Pradesh. This reflects the size of MP’s farm area, especially wheat and gram in the rabi season.
