There is no single national Farmer Registry helpline that we could confirm. Help is organised by each state, usually through a state help desk, district agriculture offices and Common Service Centres. Below are the numbers we could verify on official government sources, followed by the right place to go for each kind of problem.
We publish a phone number only if we found it on an official source, and we name that source. If your state is not listed, use the help details printed on your state’s own Farmer Registry portal. You can find the portal in our state-wise directory.
No genuine help desk needs your OTP, password or full Aadhaar number over the phone. If someone calls you claiming to be from the Farmer Registry and asks for an OTP, hang up. AgriStack.net is an independent website and has no helpline of its own.
Verified Farmer Registry help numbers
| State | Help number | Hours | Where we confirmed it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Uttar Pradesh | 0522-2317003 | Monday to Friday, 10 am to 6 pm | Number: official UP Farmer Registry user manual. Hours: as reported by Akashvani News, 29 January 2026 |
| Maharashtra | 020-25712712 | Not stated by source | Agri Stack page of Collector Office, Nanded |
| Karnataka (FRUITS) | 080-22208333 | Not stated by source | FRUITS official website |
Numbers and hours can change. If a number does not connect, check the latest details on the state portal.
Why most states have no number listed here
During our verification on 12 October 2026, most state Farmer Registry portals did not show a help number in a form we could confirm without logging in, or the number appeared only inside documents we could not verify. Rather than copy unverified numbers from other websites, we leave those states blank. If you know an official source for your state’s helpline, please send it through our contact page and we will check it.

These are not Farmer Registry helplines, but they handle problems that often block registration.

Which office solves which problem
Calling the right place first saves days. The Farmer Registry reads data from Aadhaar and from land records, so many problems must be fixed at the source.

| Your problem | Where to go | Why |
|---|---|---|
| OTP not received; mobile not linked to Aadhaar | Aadhaar enrolment or update centre | Only UIDAI can change the mobile linked to Aadhaar |
| Name spelt wrong in Aadhaar | Aadhaar enrolment or update centre | The registry copies your name from Aadhaar |
| Land not showing; land still in a deceased parent’s or seller’s name | Tehsil or revenue office (Lekhpal, Patwari, Talathi, VAO, etc.) | Mutation and land record corrections are revenue matters |
| Name in land record spelt differently | Tehsil or revenue office | Land record corrections follow state revenue rules |
| Claim pending for a long time or rejected | District or block agriculture office; state help desk | They can check where the claim is and who must act |
| Need help filling the form; no smartphone | Common Service Centre or registration camp | Assisted registration with biometric e-KYC |
| Portal error or e-Sign failure that persists | State help desk | Technical issues are handled by the state’s team |
| Wrong land linked to your ID by someone else | Agriculture office or grievance module | The FAQ says such buckets can be delinked after verification |
How the official grievance process works
The national AgriStack FAQ describes the intended support structure:
- Help desks: “State/district level help desk would be set up to provide assistance to farmers for clarifications.”
- Escalation: the help desk “will attempt to resolve the issue if it is within their capacity; otherwise, they will redirect the farmer to the appropriate official or the Agristack team”.
- Grievance module: “The farmer registry would have a grievance raising module. Farmer would raise the grievance there and would get a number.”
- Timelines: grievances related to land claims “should be handled within 10/15 days”, which states may notify under their Right to Services law.
- Appeals: the process “needs to be determined by the State, as the approval and rejection are done by the State officials”.
How far each state has implemented these depends on the state. Our grievance guide explains how to raise a complaint and follow it up.
Before you call: have these ready
Calls go faster when you can answer the help desk’s questions immediately:
- your enrolment number (from the SMS after submission) or registered mobile number;
- your district, tehsil and village;
- the survey or khasra numbers of the land in question;
- a clear description of the error, including the exact message on screen (take a screenshot if you can);
- the date you applied.
Do not read out your full Aadhaar number, password or any OTP.
What to say: a simple script
“I applied for a Farmer ID on [date]. My enrolment number is [number]. I am from [village], [tehsil], [district]. My problem is [land not showing / status pending since / e-Sign failing with the message …]. What should I do next, and who should I contact if it is not solved?”
Write down the name of the person you spoke to, the date, and any complaint or ticket number they give.
If you cannot get through
- Try at a different time. Lines are busiest during registration drives and on Monday mornings.
- Visit in person. District agriculture offices and block offices can usually see application status on the official system.
- Use a Common Service Centre. CSC operators can often check status and help with resubmission. See our CSC guide.
- Attend a camp. Many states hold village camps with revenue and agriculture staff present. See Farmer Registry camps.
- Raise a grievance. Use the portal’s grievance option, or the state’s public grievance system.
Beware of fake helplines
Fraudsters set up fake “AgriStack customer care” numbers on social media and search ads. Warning signs:
- they ask for an OTP, UPI PIN, bank details or “processing fee”;
- they promise to approve your Farmer ID quickly for money;
- they send links that do not end in
.gov.in; - they call from personal mobile numbers and pressure you to act immediately.
If this happens, report it on 1930 or cybercrime.gov.in. Read more: How to avoid fake AgriStack websites and apps.
