Gujarat’s AgriStack Farmer Registry is available on the official portal gjfr.agristack.gov.in. Gujarat farmers use it to verify their identity with Aadhaar, claim land from the state’s 7/12 records, and receive a Farmer ID. Gujarat had 62,46,923 Farmer IDs on 6 August 2026, the sixth-highest count among the states.

“AgriStack Gujarat” was one of the most searched AgriStack terms in our historical data, often by farmers who were unsure which Gujarat portal does what. This guide clears that up and explains registration.

Farmer Registry vs i-Khedut vs AnyROR

Gujarat farmers deal with several official portals. They do different jobs:

PortalWhat it does
Farmer Registry (gjfr.agristack.gov.in)Creates your AgriStack Farmer ID by linking Aadhaar and land records
i-KhedutGujarat’s portal for applying to agriculture and allied department schemes
AnyRORShows land records (7/12, 8A) online

Your Farmer ID may be requested when you apply for schemes, but registering on the Farmer Registry is not the same as applying for any scheme. For land records, use AnyROR. The Revenue Department’s own notice on that site says there is no other Revenue Department website or mobile app for viewing land records, so avoid look-alike apps. We could not verify the i-Khedut address during this review, so we do not link it here.

Before you register

  • Aadhaar and the mobile number linked to it.
  • 7/12 and 8A details: district, taluka, village and survey number for each plot.
  • A comparison of your name on the 7/12 with your Aadhaar name. Gujarati and English spellings often differ; small differences are normal and may send your claim for manual verification.

Registration steps on GJFR

  1. Open gjfr.agristack.gov.in, choose the farmer option and create an account with Aadhaar OTP, a mobile number and password.
  2. Log in and start registration. Check the details fetched from Aadhaar.
  3. Add your land: select district, taluka and village and enter the survey number. Choose your name from the owners list and add the plot. Repeat for each plot.
  4. Verify the lands and review the name-match result.
  5. Accept the consent and declarations and complete Aadhaar OTP e-Sign.
  6. Save the enrolment number from the SMS to track your application.

The general registration guide walks through each screen in detail.

The Gujarat Farmer Registry app

Some states, including Gujarat, have mobile apps for the Farmer Registry. To avoid fake apps, open the app link from the official portal rather than searching an app store. See how to identify official Farmer Registry apps.

Status and approval

After submission, Gujarat’s revenue officials verify claims that are not approved automatically. Check progress using the status option on gjfr.agristack.gov.in with your enrolment number. Once approved, the Farmer ID is generated, typically within about 24 hours according to the national FAQ.

Getting help

We did not find a Gujarat Farmer Registry helpline on an official source we could verify. Use the help details on gjfr.agristack.gov.in, contact your Talati or taluka office for land records, and the taluka or district agriculture office for pending claims. See the helpline guide.
