Telangana’s AgriStack Farmer Registry is on the official portal tlfr.agristack.gov.in. Notice the state code: “tl”, not “tg” or “ts”. Farmers verify themselves with Aadhaar, claim land from the state’s records, and receive a Farmer ID. Telangana had 50,68,737 Farmer IDs on 6 August 2026, up nearly 14% since March.

This is a new guide on AgriStack.net; our previous site did not cover Telangana.

Official Telangana portal and app

Use tlfr.agristack.gov.in or the Farmer Registry TL app linked from it. AgriStack.net is independent and has no registration form.

Prepare your land details

For each plot, note:

  • district, mandal and village;
  • survey number and any subdivision;
  • the khata number and the owner name, as shown in your pattadar passbook or pahani.

Telangana’s land records portal has changed in recent years. Under the Telangana Bhu Bharati (Record of Rights in Land) Act, 2025, the record of rights portal is now Bhu Bharati, which replaced Dharani. Its “Know Land Status” service shows land details, and your pattadar passbook also shows your survey numbers.

Registering on TLFR

  1. Open tlfr.agristack.gov.in (or the Farmer Registry TL app), choose the farmer option and create an account with Aadhaar OTP, a mobile number and password.
  2. Log in and start registration. Check the Aadhaar details.
  3. Claim land by district, mandal and village, entering the survey number. Pick your name from the owners list and add the plot.
  4. Verify all lands to see the name-match result.
  5. Consent and e-Sign with Aadhaar OTP.
  6. Keep the enrolment number sent by SMS.

Using the app safely

App stores contain look-alike farmer apps. The safest way to install the official app is from the link on tlfr.agristack.gov.in. Check the publisher details and the permissions it requests. See how to identify official Farmer Registry apps.

Farmer ID vs state scheme registrations

Telangana runs its own farmer support schemes with their own beneficiary lists. The AgriStack Farmer ID is separate. A scheme may ask for it, but registering in the Farmer Registry does not by itself enrol you in any scheme. Check scheme rules on official state notices or with your Agriculture Extension Officer.
