Uttarakhand’s AgriStack Farmer Registry is on the official portal ukfr.agristack.gov.in. Farmers verify themselves with Aadhaar, claim land from the state’s khatauni records, and receive a Farmer ID. Uttarakhand is a smaller registry, with 3,30,466 Farmer IDs on 6 August 2026, but it more than doubled between March and August 2026.

This is a new guide on AgriStack.net; our previous site did not cover Uttarakhand.

Hill farming and the Farmer Registry

Uttarakhand’s hill farmers often hold many very small plots scattered across terraces and sometimes several villages. This affects registration in two ways:

  1. You may need to add many plots. Each khasra number must be claimed. Make a list of every khasra and village before you start.
  2. Land may still be in an ancestor’s name. Joint family holdings that were never formally divided are common. If the khatauni is in a deceased ancestor’s name, mutation is needed first, or ask whether legal heirs can be added. See inherited land.

You still get one Farmer ID, however many plots you have. Each plot gets its own Farm ID. See multiple land plots.

Migrant landholders

Many Uttarakhand families have members working in cities who still own land in their home villages. Registration is done on the state where the land is, so use ukfr.agristack.gov.in. Self-registration online can be done from anywhere if your Aadhaar-linked mobile works, but claims needing manual verification are handled locally. Contact your home tehsil or agriculture office if your claim stalls.

Registering on UKFR

  1. Open ukfr.agristack.gov.in, choose the farmer option and create an account with Aadhaar OTP, a mobile number and password.
  2. Log in and start registration. Check your Aadhaar details.
  3. Claim each plot: choose district, tehsil and village, enter the khasra number, select your name and add the plot. Repeat for every plot.
  4. Verify all lands and check the name-match result.
  5. Consent and e-Sign with Aadhaar OTP.
  6. Keep the enrolment number from the SMS.

See Farmer Registry online registration for help with each screen.

Getting help

We did not find an Uttarakhand Farmer Registry helpline on an official source we could verify. Use the help details on ukfr.agristack.gov.in, the Patwari or tehsil for land records, and the block agriculture office for registration. See the helpline guide.
